Tim Bray joins Google on Android team

While it may be the new OS in the game, Android continues to grow, and Google understands they need to grow at the same pace. Recently we saw that the creator of the cell phone has switched to Android, like many other smartphone users. Google has been lucky enough to get the co-creator of XML to join their team as an Android Advocate. Tim Bray has left Oracle, and joined the Google team for Android development as he hopes to bring things to the next level. Tim has made it clear in his blog post that he is a fan of the open source OS, and doesn't like the feeling of being restricted by any company. While the team behind Android continues to grow, we can only hope these growths to transpire into new additions in both hardware and software for consumers. [via ZDNet]
