LG G7 One coming to Canada later this year

During IFA in August, one of the most interesting announcements from the show was LG's G7 One. The G7 One is essentially a mid-range version of the G7 from earlier this year that retains many of its same features while also replacing LG's custom software for pure Android One. Now, we have confirmation that the phone is coming to Canada.

The G7 One retains a glass and metal construction, but unlike the glossy nature of the proper G7, has a frosted finish that looks a bit more subdued.

Powering the G7 One is last year's Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM, and a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery. There's also 32GB of expandable storage (up to 2TB), 16MP rear camera, IP68 water resistance, and Android 8.1 out of the box with a guaranteed update to Pie before 2018 is over.

Along with all that, you'll also find some for eccentric features like AI smarts built into the camera app, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and the same excellent Boombox Speaker found on the regular G7.

We don't know how much the LG G7 One will cost in Canada or which carriers it'll be released on, but LG says these details will be revealed later on.
