Mesh Wi-Fi networks are essential if you want good wireless coverage in a larger home/apartment, and while the market for these routers is huge, Eero has managed to stick out as one of the best options out there. As of February 11, 2019, it's confirmed that Amazon is buying the company.

In a press release issued by Amazon, Senior Vice President of Amazon Devices and Services, Dave Limp, said:

By joining the Amazon family, we're excited to learn from and work closely with a team that is defining the future of the home, accelerate our mission, and bring Eero systems to more customers around the globe.
