T-Mobile boosts bunch of cities to faster HSPA+

If you're on T-Mobile, have one of those fancy 4G phones and happen to live in an HSPA+ coverage area, you might have notice faster speeds today. Some 47 markets have been bumped up to 42Mbps. That's theoretical speed, of course, and TMo says it's seen average download speeds "approaching 10Mbps," with peak speeds hitting 27Mbps. That's nothing to sneeze at.

The cities that have been upgraded are:

Android smartphones that can take advantage of these speeds are the Galaxy S 4G, myTouch 4G, T-Mobile G2, Sidekick 4G, G2X and the new Sensation 4G.
