Galaxy Tab Pro

Free 32GB microSD card with pre-orders from Samsung's online store

Samsung launched its monstrous Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet in the U.K. a couple of weeks back, and now it's time for the Tab Pro series to arrive in the country. Samsung's online store is now taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and 10.1, priced at £349 and £449 respectively for the Wifi-only versions. And to sweeten the deal the manufacturer is throwing in a free 32GB microSD card for everyone who pre-orders.

Both devices sport 2560x1600-resolution displays and run Andorid 4.4 KitKat along with Samsung's new Magazine UX. The Tab Pro 10.1 is powered by an Exynos octa-core CPU (1.9GHz + 1.3GHz), while the 8.4-incher is listed with a 2.3GHz quad-core CPU, most likely a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. Both Tab Pros are available in black and white, and Samsung will begin shipping from Mar. 4. Meanwhile British retailer Carphone Warehouse still has its Tab Pro pre-registration page up with no firm pricing details at present.

Nope, far too expensive. Ill wait until my trip to the US in the summer, and pick one up at a fraction of the price

Onscreen buttons would be nice if you wanted to switch back from portrait and landscape. But yeah this is Sammy and they are married to that hardware button.
