Motorola pushing Android 4.4.3 starting today!

Improved camera software coming for Moto X, as is Motorola Alert

Motorola is wasting no time pushing out the Android 4.4.3 update for its devices, which just yesterday was released to AOSP and is beginning to hit Nexus devices. Updates will begin pushing to the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E this week.

Moto X owners with T-Mobile will be up first. Moto G owners who bought online in the U.S. (including the new LTE model) and at retail in Brazil also will see updates. And Moto E users in the U.S. and Canada will get updates, too. And for those worried, Motorola says Moto E will still get the next major update for Android as well, so it's not wasted on a maintenance release.

Motorola's also throwing in updated camera software for the Moto X, including better exposure consistency, flash colors and low-light issues.

Moto X and Moto G will get a pause button for video recording.

And Motorola Alert — you can see our walkthrough of that here — will finally be released for Moto X and Moto G.
