Google to announce Fiber rollout in four new US cities

Google Fiber is coming to four new metro areas in the US. That's according to a new report over on the Wall Street Journal, citing sources familiar with the situation. It's reported that Google will soon announce coverage in Atlanta, Charlotte (N.C), Raleigh-Durham (N.C), and Nashville (Tenn.) in the coming days.

Local news publications in these areas have received invitations from Google to a local event without having the beans spilled as to what will be announced. With this move expected to go ahead, the search giant continues on its quest to shake up the cable industry and provide excellent connection speeds in new areas.
